Anupama is shocked to see the positive pregnancy test. She wonders how to tell Anuj and the family about the news. Meanwhile, Vanraj is also struggling to come to terms with his new reality. He feels guilty for hurting Anuj and Anupama.
Episode Start
The episode starts with Anupama looking at the positive pregnancy test in shock. She can’t believe that she is pregnant. She wonders how to tell Anuj and the family about the news.
Anupama walks out of the bathroom and sees Anuj sleeping on the bed. She sits down next to him and looks at him lovingly. She thinks about how happy he would be to know that they are going to have a baby.
But Anupama also knows that the timing is wrong. Anuj is still recovering from the shock of Vanraj’s betrayal. And the family is already going through so much. She doesn’t want to add to their burden.
Anupama decides to keep the news of her pregnancy a secret for now. She will tell Anuj and the family when the right time comes.
Meanwhile, at the Shah house, Vanraj is also struggling to come to terms with his new reality. He feels guilty for hurting Anuj and Anupama. He knows that he has made a huge mistake.
Vanraj walks into the living room and sees Leela sitting on the couch. She is watching TV, but she doesn’t seem to be paying attention.
“Leela,” Vanraj says.
Leela looks up at him. “What is it, Vanraj?” she asks.
“I want to talk to you,” Vanraj says.
Leela sighs. “What is it now?” she asks.
Vanraj sits down next to her. “I’m so sorry, Leela,” he says. “I’ve hurt you and Anuj and Anupama so much. I’m so ashamed of myself.”
Leela tears well up in her eyes. “I know, Vanraj,” she says. “I know.”
Vanraj puts his arm around her. “I’m going to try to make things right,” he says. “I promise.”
Leela nods. “I know you will,” she says.
Anupama is at the Kapadia house, helping Barkha and Ankush with the arrangements for the upcoming party. She is trying to keep herself busy so that she doesn’t think about her pregnancy.
But it’s no use. Anupama can’t stop thinking about the baby. She wonders what it will be like to be a mother again. She imagines holding the baby in her arms and singing to it.
Anupama sighs. She knows that she can’t keep her pregnancy a secret forever. She will have to tell Anuj and the family eventually.
Later that day, Anupama and Anuj are sitting in the garden. They are talking about their future together.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” Anuj says. “You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Anupama smiles. “I feel the same way,” she says.
Anuj puts his arm around her. “I want to grow old with you,” he says. “I want to see our grandchildren.”
Anupama’s heart skips a beat. She thinks about the baby growing inside her. She knows that she can’t keep the secret any longer.
“Anuj,” she says. “I have something to tell you.”
Anuj looks at her expectantly. “What is it?” he asks.
Anupama takes a deep breath. “I’m pregnant,” she says.
Anuj’s eyes widen in surprise. “Pregnant?” he repeats.
Anupama nods. “Yes,” she says.
Anuj stands up and walks over to Anupama. He cups her face in his hands. “Anupama,” he says. “I’m so happy.”
Anuj pulls Anupama into a tight hug. He kisses her forehead. “Thank you,” he says. “Thank you for giving me this gift.”
Anupama smiles. “I love you,” she says.
“I love you too,” Anuj says.
Anupama and Anuj stay in each other’s arms for a long time. They are both filled with joy.
The next day, Anupama and Anuj tell the Shah family about the pregnancy. Everyone is overjoyed.
“I’m so happy for you both,” Hasmukh says. “I can’t wait to be a grandfather again.”
